SIMA (SIPCOT Irungattukottai Manufacturers Association), a thriving and star industrial estate in the state of Tamil Nadu, was founded in the year 2010.

SIMA’s objective was to create an interface with Key Departments of Government and industrial bodies such as, CII, TANSTIA, ASSOCHAM, ACMA, etc., to be part of Policy Recommendation Committees to assist the needs of all unit holders in the estate. Such interactions have resulted in the government issuing new directions & GO’s for the benefit of the industry as a whole.

SIMA is a leading estate in the Chennai Bangalore Industrial Corridor. The industries in this estate, no matter its size or field, such as, Hyundai Motor, Schwing Stetter, JKM Automotive, Asahi India Glass, etc., have “manufacturing excellence” as part of their DNA and have adopted & in some cases invented the most efficient process & products, to match world standards!

SIMA is run by dedicated & duly elected or nominated members, through a democratic process, as laid out in The Articles of the Association.
